I guess we’ll call this week my little blog break for Christmas.. I was not planning to go MIA but the last week before I managed to fly home to Finland, there was a million things to do. Luckily I am here now but not unfortunately in Spain like I was a few weeks ago, where I wore my Three Floor dress for the first time. A good red dress must one of the best investments as it was the first thing I folded in my Christmas holiday suitcase.

A casual one from this week. I fell in love with Levi’s brown coated jeans but assumably so did many others, as I discovered they where out of my size in this style that I so desperately wished for. So since I was already set on these I decided to try to make a size too big work. Maybe we’ll call it a neater version of boyfriend jeans which is a new style in my wardrobe and always a little bit exciting.

Isn't a big knit and a skit the best combo this season? Love wearing it with pants underneath too. I know the sales are just around the corner (YESS!!) but I could not risk missing out on this Topshop Unique knit as I loved the collection to bits, does it pass as a Christmas knit?

But in all honesty I did wear a coat too, I am only human.

Happy feet does kind of equal a happy mind. I don’t know when I would have last owned a pair of high suede boots but gosh this is one of the best pair I’ve seen in a long time. It still amazes me that I can almost get away with bare legs in December, normally in Finland I would be knee-high in snow not studded suede. So I am fully enjoying my first pair of Stuart Weitzman’s! Shoemaker who is known for his comfortable shoes and deservedly winner of this years Footwear News Lifetime Achievement Award.

I've been staying warm in this pink fluff lately. One of these pieces that I can’t travel with because it takes up half a suitcase, so I had to wait for the temperature to drop enough here in London - well we’re there. I talked about Three Floors on the blog before but this winter’s collection was the best so far, with excitement I wait to see what they come up with next!

Yesterday we got to enjoy clear skies here in London, and I had a chance to wear some new things that I have been saving for a day like this. Although I used to know Juicy Couture for their velvet track suits, they’ve recently put a lot of effort in to re-launching their image, especially in the UK and I think it deserves a mention. I'll even will be hosting an event with them early next month. But for now checks it is, as I seem to have taken an unusually strong liking for both striped and checked pieces this season.

Attempt no. 86 of trying to wear my thinner jackets this winter. I wore the wrap earlier here but came to understand that it works just as well layered with this older coat that I seem to go back to every year around this time.

Okay I admit, maybe a bit lower than my usual, but I simply fell for these Sigerson Morrison boots while in New York. A simple, slender, slightly western shape, maybe I’ll call these my day off boots. Other than that, what I wore an a rainy Saturday.

Leave it to Margiela to lead the way on the whole oversized movement. This coat is no exception and with it only coming in one size, I’m drowning but that’s exactly how it should be. With high heels you can get away with things like this - my mantra.
